Quantitative Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve, extract, and process monthly reporting data for thousands of transactions, using proprietary software tools
  • Enhance data processing procedures and quality assurance
  • Provide extensive client support for data used within Intex's core products

Qualifications include:

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated programming aptitude
  • Interest in improving existing systems to make them more efficient
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate proactively and openly with coworkers, data providers, and external clients
  • Quantitative Degree (e.g. Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering)
  • 1+ year's experience in a quantitative or data oriented position

Quantitative Financial Data Analyst

Will be engaged in developing quantitative financial products, analyzing and creating structured-finance securities models.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial market data collection and normalization
  • Developing and calibrating complex securitization cashflow models
  • Retrieving, extracting, and processing monthly reporting data using proprietary software tools
  • Providing client support of cashflow model function within Intex's core products
  • Working with the development team to enhance Intex's modeling language
  • Designing, implementing and supporting data processing automation procedures and quality assurance
  • Providing support for structured financial deals by modeling for Structured Finance deals, utilizing specialized software and language

Qualifications include:

  • Must have Masters or foreign equivalent in Financial Math or a related quantitative field
  • Three (3) months of experience as data analyst with extracting (scraping), structuring, and analyzing data, database development and programming utilizing predictive analytical statistics, financial modeling, ETL process, SQL and related tools/technologies
